In 1897 these family shops decided that together was better and formed what is known today as the Stubai (Stu-Bye) Corporation. This co-op is made up of 15 partner factories that each produce their own specific products for the main catalog. One family produces mountaineering equipment, one family make chef's cutlery, one makes forestry axes, one makes roofing tools, woodcarving, construction etc. Each shop has been in business for many, many years and is the best at what they do.

In the 1990's Stubai approached Whillock Woodcarving in Faribault, Minnesota to become the distributor for their woodcarving tools and supplies in the USA. That partnership continues today.

Whillock created StubaiUSA.com to be able to market these fine products to both retail and wholesale customers. Today, Whillock not only sells the fantastic line of Stubai Woodcarving tools ... you are also able to order any and all of the fine Stubai hand tools and quality made products available at Stubai.com.
